Zenith (Billie) Nance Bailey, age 81 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 13, 2011. Zenith was born on November 12, 1930 in Briceville, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Ellen McGhee Nance. She accepted Jesus and was baptized in his name as a young girl and became a long standing and faithful member of the Briceville Pentecostal Church of God. She lived her entire life in the Briceville and Fratersville community and retired from the Anderson County School System after 33 years serving at Briceville Elementary School. Her greatest joys were attending church and worshiping the Lord. Also, very important was the love for her family and quilting beautiful quilts.
In addition to her parents, Zenith is preceded in death by a infant baby boy; brothers, Clayton Daniels, Scotty Nance, and Thomas Nance Jr.; sisters, Ruble Daniels Stewart, Ruby Daniels Harness, and Bernice Daniels Wilson Patterson. Many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her.

The family wants to thank her caregivers, Sherry Wilson, Angela Martin and Carrie Martin for the many days they were there for her.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 8:00pm with Pastor Jeryl Barnett officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10:30am and go in funeral procession to the Leach Cemetery for a 11:00am interment.
