SMITH, YVONNE MARIE HONEYCUTT - age 48, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked for many years in the engineering field, receiving many awards for her superior performance. She had a special place in her heart for the fund-raising efforts of The United Way and gave tirelessly of herself for this cause. She received several special recognitions for her outstanding efforts in leading her company to meet and exceed its fund-raising goals. Her home and her heart was always open to those in need. Preceded in death by parents, Castene and Willie Honeycutt; sister, Louise Russell and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Honeycutt. She is survived by: husband, Tom Smith of Oak Ridge, TN; step-children, Todd Smith of Oak Ridge and Lee Smith of Cookeville; granddaughters, Bailey Smith, of Oak Ridge, TN, who was her pride and joy and Lilly Smith of Cookeville, TN.; brothers, R.L. Honeycutt of Knoxville; Curtis Honeycutt and wife, Carolyn of The Outer Banks, NC; Jim Honeycutt and wife, Dixie of Madisonville, TN; sisters, Juanita Deaver and husband, Steve of Canton, NC; Brenda Moore and husband, Tom of Louisville, TN and Phyllis Simpson and husband, Butch of Knoxville, TN; special cousins, Carolyn Cheek of Lee, Virginia and Clifford Allred of Adrian, Michigan; nieces, Pam Wallace, Cassandra Perez, Sherry Washington, Angela Wheeler and Kim Wheeler; nephews: Robert Wallace, Will Honeycutt, Jim Honeycutt, Travis Honeycutt, Brad Honeycutt, Tim Hutson and Brian Hutson; best friends, Cindy Simpson and Annette Costar; many other friends and relatives; The family will receive friends Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral home in Clinton, with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m., Bro. Bill Dean and Dr. Will Honeycutt officiating. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011at Oak Grove Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral, Clinton in charge of arrangements
