Wilton N. Hutchison, Sr. Hutchison, 94, of Clinton, Tennessee passed away peacefully at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge on Friday, October 25, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife of almost 70 years, Sophia Patterson Hutchison, his brothers, Ralph, Earl, and Jack, and his grandson, Phillip.  He is survived by his children, Wilton, Jr. of Clinton, Douglas (Rose) of Atlantis, FL, Michael T. of Clinton.  He is also survived by his grandson, Jeff (Adriana) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and one great-grandchild, Avary, and by many nieces and nephews.
Wilton was born December 4, 1929, in Oneida, Tennessee. Throughout his life, he had resided primarily in East Tennessee - Harriman, Knoxville (Fountain City), Oneida, and most recently Clinton. He also had resided previously in Carmel, Indiana and Boca Raton, Florida.
Wilton served in the United States Navy and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Marketing. He spent most of his career in sales. However, he ran a family farm for 10 years and subsequently remained active in Real Estate sales and development until 10 years ago. There will be a private service and celebration of life memorial held for the family. The family asks that any expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations in memory of Wilton Hutchison, Sr. to the East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville, TN.
