In Loving Memory of Wilma York

Wilma Jean York, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends after a long and beautiful life filled with kindness, strength and grace.

Born into a simpler time, Wilma witnessed nearly a century of history and change. Through every season of life, she remained a source of love, wisdom, and encouragement to all who knew her. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart left a lasting impression on family, friends, and neighbors alike.

Wilma cherished her family above all else. She devoted her life to creating a loving home, nurturing those around her, and sharing countless memories that will be treasured for generations. Whether through a comforting conversation, a home-cooked meal, or a thoughtful act of kindness, she had a special way of making everyone feel valued and loved.

She found joy in life’s simple blessings-time spent with loved ones, laughter shared around the table, and the beauty found in everyday moments. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, traveling, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful, lifelong member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church of Clinton where her faith, resilience, and unwavering compassion guided her throughout her life and inspired those fortunate enough to know her.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we celebrate the remarkable life Wilma lived and the legacy she leaves behind. Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, serving as a reminder of a life well lived and deeply cherished.

Wilma York will be dearly missed, lovingly, remembered, and forever treasured. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
