Wilma Jean Daugherty, age 84, of Clinton passed away peacefully at her home on August 4, 2015. Wilma was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton where she was a Sunday School Teacher, helped with Bible school, and served on the hostess committee. In 1950 she graduated from Norris High School where she was also a cheerleader. Her and her husband owned and operated Daugherty's Furniture Store in Clinton for many years. Wilma had a love for life and loved being surrounded by her family. Throughout her life she touched so many lives and was always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever was in need. Preceded in death by parents, Elijah and Margaret Davis; son, Bobby Daugherty; brother, Buddy Davis and sister, Iva Dean Fraker.
