Willis Gene York, age 61 of Lafollette, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 19, 1958 to the late Murphy and Ruby Ledford York in Jellico. He was a free spirit who enjoyed running the roads and playing the guitar. He loved spending time with his friends and sitting on the front porch. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Willis York; son, Jimmy York; brother, Leroy York; sister, Sue Ann Wallace.

She is survived by: children, Samantha York-Holman and husband Christian, Brenda York and husband Aaron Glaeser, and Trevor Lane; siblings, Bobby York, Kermit York, Billy York, Joy Siler, Martha Ward, Larry York, Kathy Ward, Patsy York; Grandchildren, Gage York, Blaze York; and a host of other family and friends.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
