Willis Daniel, age 89, of Clinton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughter on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith and a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He loved gospel bluegrass music, gardening, cooking, and watching television ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. He retired from Ford Motor Company as a welding supervisor. Preceded in death by loving wife of 52 years, Andrea Daniel; parents, Jess and Veatice Daniel; sisters, Opal Hunt and Virginia Nelson; brother, Roy Daniel.

The family would like to thank Steve McDonald at Calvary Baptist Church for the special visits during his brief illness. Also, the family would like to thank the nurses and CNA's at Methodist Medical Center for the loving care given to Willis.
The family will receive 11:00-1:00 pm, Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Kenny Rains.
