Obituary


William A. Speed, age 66 of Lafollette, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at his home. He was a US Army Veteran, serving three tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the Powell Masonic Lodge and the Kerbela Temple of Knoxville. He was very artistic, a talented craftsman and was an avid ballroom dancer. William loved life and loved his family. He will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bonnie Bumgardner Speed; sister, Gerrie Cantrell
Survivors include:
Wife: Betsy Stooksbury Speed
Son: Wesley Speed and wife Ginger
Daughter: Priscilla McPeters and husband Michael
Brothers: Steve Speed and wife Weja
Edward Speed and wife Peggy
Tommy Speed and wife Judy
Sister: Myetta Jones

Grandchildren: Hunter and Madison Speed; Alana McPeters
Host of other family and friends
The family will receive friends Monday, May 21st from 6-8Pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A memorial service will follow with Rev. David Green officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
