William (Bill) Cate, age 83, of Kodak passed away on Thursday, December 30 ^th , 2021. He was a Christian and he was an avid fisherman. Bill had a variety of self-owned businesses in Clinton area; Anderson County Pulpwood, Cate Logging Inc. and Cate Auto Parts in South Clinton. His most recent employment was as a commercial developer for Ray Bible Properties in Sevier County, other northeastern counties of Tennessee and Kentucky. He is preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Johnnie Cate; sisters, Jean Atchley, Carolyn Cruze and son, David Cate. Bill is survived by sons, WM. Allen Cate (Sandy) of Clinton and Jeff Cate (Brenda) of Harriman; grandson, Johnathan Cate of Harriman and brother, Johnnie Cate of Knoxville. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.
