William Nathan (W.N.) Arnold, Jr., 89, born December 3, 1926 passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016.

He was a member of the Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder as well as Sunday school officer for over 40 years. He was also a member of the Lamplighters Class.

W.N. is preceded in death by his parents, William Nathan Arnold and Osie Lee Fowler. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Sara Elizabeth Prater (Cherry) and son Gary Lynn Arnold of Duluth, Georgia. Brothers, Samuel Arnold and Ann Baker, Gaines and Carolyn Arnold, Wayne and Patty Arnold, Sisters, Irene Karnes and Dot Burchett, and a special niece Melanie Peckham and son Josh. The family would also like to thank Alice Brooks, caretaker for the last 2 years, for her love and support.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 28, 2016 from 5-7pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 7pm at Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Thomas Sweet and Reverend Fran Vickers officiating. Family and friends will gather at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens at 10 am for the internment service.
