Wayne Pressley passed away on January 22, 2026.

Wayne was born on October 31, 1941, in Brevard, North Carolina, to the late Carl and Ethel Pressley, and was the beloved husband of Loretta Pressley.

Wayne loved his family unconditionally and shared that love with everyone he met. His kindness and devotion did not go unnoticed—he was deeply loved in return. To know Wayne was truly to love him.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Loretta Pressley; his daughters, Janice Lane, and Waynette Sharp; his sons-in-law, Jimmy Lane and Dennis Sharp; his grandchildren, Wesley Lane, Tanner Sharp (Alli Sharp), and Kami Sharp Cardenas (Gabe Cardenas); his great-grandchild, Ada Sharp; and his brother, Milton Pressley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Anita Pressley; his grandson, Dewayne Kesterson; his sister, Brenda Overton; and his parents, Carl and Ethel Pressley.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow.  His graveside service will immediately follow at Grandview Memorial Garden.

Wayne will be deeply missed and forever loved.
