Wayford "Pete" Harris Jeffers, age 75 of Clinton passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Pete was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Clinton. He was an avid University of Tennessee sports fan. Pete was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and then retired from the Y-12 in Oak Ridge after working there for 28 years. He enjoyed working in his wood shop and listening to all the kids in AWANA. Most of all he loved his wife of 50 years, kids and grandkids. He will be dearly missed. Pete is preceded in death by, Parents, Wilbert and Lucy Boshears Jeffers; Sister, Bonnie June Lowe; Brothers, Jaymon and Leonard Jeffers.

The family will receive friends at the Second Baptist Church in Clinton on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 2-4PM with the funeral service to follow at 4:00PM with Dr. Mike Thompson officiating and music provided by Don and Elizabeth Young. Interment will be held at the Anderson Memorial Garden on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:00AM with full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard. www.holleygamblefh.com.
