Wanda Begley Wilder, age 83 of Knoxville (Karns), passed away quietly surrounded by her family October 8, 2014. She was a member of Edgemoor Baptist Church. She was born October 24, 1930 in Hawkins County, TN to the late Henry M. and Dona Kilgore Begley. Wanda assisted her husband in the family business, Karns Reality and did volunteer work for the Karns Fire Department. She enjoyed working in her garden and canning. She was an excellent cook and homemaker. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Paul (Bonnie) Begley, Emery (Frances) Begley, Carson Begley and Lynn Begley; sister, Grace (Claude) Lawson.

Great grandchildren: Bryce and Trent Williams

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 11th from 4-6 PM at Edgemoor Baptist Church in Claxton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Charles Fritts, Rev. Rick Miller and Rev. John Burleson officiating. Graveside service will be held Sunday, October 12th at 2:00 PM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Edgemoor Baptist Church.
