Walter H. Starnes, Jr. (Skip), age 60 of Oak Ridge, passed away February 11, 2014. He passed away at a very dear friend's house, Barbara Baker. Skip had the personality of never meeting a stranger. He was always helping someone. He was an avid Gardner when it comes to plants. His nickname was "Dirt Lord". He was a member of Solway Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nona Starnes; brother, William Wayne Starnes.

Grandchildren: Joshua, Jude, Jerrica and Jessica
