Walter "Buck" Barber age 68 of Lake City passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born on June 16, 1944 to the late John Henry and Etta Lee Stringer Barber in New River, Tennessee. Walter was a veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He loved his family especially his grandkids and enjoyed fishing. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, Walter is preceded in death by Sister, Lorene Barber and Bother-in-law, Ralph Wayne Crowe.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Brother Allen Crowe officiating. Family and friends will meet at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 12:15PM and go in funeral precession to the Anderson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00PM interment with full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
