Wallace "Wally" Massengill, age 89, of Andersonville passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center. Wallace a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp having served in World War II. He retired from Smith Transfer as a truck driver after 35 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Edna Mae Massengill; sisters, Eloise Norman and Lucille Shields; sons, Wallace David and Larry Joe Massengill.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Friends and family will go in procession to Sunset Cemetery for a 2:30 pm graveside service with full military honors at graveside.
