Vonnette Wood, age 96, of Norris passed away May 2, 2012 at Golden Living Center-Windwood. She was a member of Norris First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wood; great-grandson, Jason Dixon; parents, Cas & Ada Hill Stooksbury; brothers, Lillard, Maynard, Chester & Earl Stooksbury.

Survivors:

Daughters: Carole Pratt and husband Richard of Sevierville, TN.
Anna Crawford and husband James of Cleveland, TN.

Grandchildren: Theresa Melton, Alica Posey, Heath Crawford, Susanne Gibson,
Cathy Maples, Beth Rolen, Tanya Pratt

Several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2-3pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral at 3:00pm. Graveside services will be May 7th at 11:00AM at Norris Memorial Gardens. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
