Vivian Lindsey, 96 years old of Clinton, passed away March 1st surrounded by loving family. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, Clinton for over 63 years. She retired from White Stores after 30 years and also worked at Tiny Tots Daycare, ETHRA and Office on Aged. She loved being with her family and friends, gardening and was known for cooking delicious food.
She was preceded in death by John Edward Lindsey; parents, Richard and Delphia Putman, Hollytree, Al; brother, Eugene Putman; grandson, Lindsey Brock; daughter in-law, Kay Howell Lindsey.
She is survived by sons Maurice Lindsey, Richmond, VA; Kenneth Lindsey and wife Brenda, Wilmington, NC; daughter, Lynda Brock and husband Wade of Clinton; grandchildren, Cris Brock, Lisa Brock Hancock, Maury Lindsey and wife Michelle, Kendra Vita and husband Steve, Erika Lodwig, Danny Lindsey and Meredith Mauceri and husband Salvadore; great grandchildren, Kennedy Hancock, Jackson West, Jordon and Asher Lindsey.
Visitation will be held at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton on Sunday, March 4th from 2-3PM with services following. Rev. Donald Swift and Rev. Wayne Hedrick will officiate. Burial will be held at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton, TN following funeral service. The family extends special thanks to all caregivers at Golden Living Medical and Rehab.
