Louise Tipton, age 85, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. Louise and her husband, Gene owned and operated Clinton Art Studio and Oak Ridge Portrait Studio for fifty plus years. She enjoyed rock collecting, making jewelry, cooking, and homemaking. She is preceded in death by parents, Bert and Ardena Cox; brother, Keith Cox; sisters, Lynn Cox and Evelyn Cox Morton.

Friends and family may call at their convenience. The family will have a graveside service Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
