Obit for Virginia M. Weber
Clinton resident Virginia M. Weber died Tuesday, January 25, after a long illness.
Mrs. Weber was born and raised in Muskegon, MI on June 17, 1932 and was the daughter of Ione and John Leslie Frantz. She has four living siblings: Marion Frantz, Doris (Frantz) Anderson, Robert Frantz and Larry Frantz, all living in Michigan.
When younger, Mrs. Weber was actively involved in her church, children's school and community. She worked for several years as a bus driver for Mona Shores School in Western Michigan. Later, she and her husband, Frederick Weber, Sr., owned a floral delivery business until they retired. After retirement, she and her husband worked as volunteers of Warner (Christian) Campground, located in Southwest Michigan. They moved to Clinton, TN in 1989 to be near three of their children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband of nearly 60 years:--Frederick Edward Weber, Sr., who died September 2010. She leaves four children: Deborah (Weber) and husband John Stolcenburg, Frederick E. Weber, Jr and his wife, Eileen; Sue (Weber) Appleton; and M. Elaine Weber. She also leaves numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren in both the Muskegon area and in East Tennessee.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. at First Wesleyan Church of Clinton, TN.
