Virginia Lee Simpson, age 88, of Clinton, passed away September 22, 2015 at her home. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Garden Club, Timely Topics and Christian Women's Club. Virginia was an avid UT fan, especially basketball, enjoyed crafts, shopping and was an excellent cook and hostess.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Bertha Gladney; husband, William Mike Simpson, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Simpson. A memorial service will be Friday, September 25th at 2:00 PM at Holley-Gamble Chapel in Clinton with Rev. Donna Hester officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamble.com
