Virginia Poe, age 88, of Clinton, now at home with the Lord on May 16, 2010. Her life was characteristic of those who "Walk in the Spirit", Galatians 5:16 yielding to Him to produce the "fruit" of Galatians 5:22-23. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a member of Jarnigan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Rev. Luther Martin Poe; parents, Hobert "Tobie" and Eliza Pearl Hindmon; brother, Trick Hindmon; sister, Inez Smtih.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 17, 2010 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Pastors' Tom Byrge and Larry Webster officiating. Her burial will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Bible Print Shop, 117 Old Hen Valley Rd., Oliver Springs, TN 37840. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
