Virginia "Sunny" England Hoose, age 81, went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2015. Sunny was a mother to many children, not just her own but to many of the kid's in Claxton. She worked in the Claxton Elementary School cafeteria for many years and made sure the kids had not just food but, love and kindness. Throughout her life she loved to travel and square dance. Everyone will remember her famous chocolate chip cookies. Sunny was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, Alan Hoose; daughter, Jennifer England Hoose; daughter-in-law, Sherry Hoose; parents, Beecher and Lou England.

The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Rhea County for their loving care given to Sunny during her illness.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday in the chapel with a graveside to follow at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
