Laura Virginia Bacon, age 85 of Heiskell, passed away October 20, 2014. She was the longest tenured member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church. She was a member of AARP, Anderson County Home Demonstration and Women's Auxiliary.
Virginia was an avid gardener, enjoyed crafts and loved singing gospel music. She sung in several local churches and throughout surrounding areas.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Clyde Bacon; parents, George W. and Martha Sparks Ammons; six brothers and sisters.

Stephen N. Bacon and special friend Angie and her 2 sons Eric and Lee Higdon
Brian R. Bacon and wife Melissa

Youngest Brother: Gary Ammons and wife Betty

Grandchildren: Luke, David, Lindsay, and Stephanie
