Violet Martin Foster passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 92.

She was born on July 19, 1933 and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Karns. Violet had a passion for shopping, decorating, and the holiday season, with a special fondness for Christmas. However, her greatest joy in life was found in the presence of her beloved grandbabies, whom she adored and cherished every moment spent with them.

Violet is preceded in death by her husband, Ershal Foster; parents, Edward and Maude Martin; and siblings, Fleda Loy, Lorene Crawford, Lucille Foust, Elsie Thomas, and Clyde Martin.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Rogers and her husband Terry, and Melody Smith and her husband James; grandchildren, Brittany Palmer and her husband John, and Blake Smith and his wife Stephanie. In addition, she leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Addison Rowe, Ezekiel Smith, and Eliza Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
