Vernon Haynes, age 80, of Powell, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 13, 2020. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam. Vernon was born May, 11, 1940 to the late Dee F. and Lottie Pickett Haynes. Vernon was a simple man and prankster who loved to hunt ginseng. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 9 siblings.

Two sisters, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 6-7PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00PM.
