Vernon "Pudgy" Byrd, age 62 of Clinton, met the Lord on March 23, 2012. He was of the Baptist faith. Pudgy was the owner and operator of Top Gun Racing Engines since 1991. He enjoyed fishing and loved to watch his grandsons playing ball.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 25th from 5-7PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Bobby Goins officiating.
