Obituary

Vernia Mae Mullins, age 71 of Rocky Top, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born on May 19, 1946 to the late Floyd and Minnie Crabtree Bailey in Campbell County. Vernia was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending and singing at church when she was able.  Vernia loved working puzzles, crocheting, quilting, and embroidery. She loved her dogs, Teeny and Izzy.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Bailey Phillips

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Monday, March 26,2018 from 12-2pm with the funeral service to follow at 2pm with the Rev. C.H. Baird, Kris Bailey and Rev. David Walker officiating. Verna's interment will be held at the Ridgeview Baptist Church Cemetery following her funeral service.  Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top is in charge of all arrangements.
