Vera Bunch went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2011. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Clinton. She was born to Dan and Frankie Crumpley on October 3, 1921. She is proceded in death by husband Rev. Hoye Bunch; son, Charles Steven Bunch; great granddaughter, Jessica Paysinger; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by son, John Bunch of Clinton; daughters, Nancy and husband Kyle Wires of Memphis, Martha and husband Ronnie Hooks with whom she made her home in Clinton; daughter in-law, Mary Ruth Bunch of Oliver Springs; granddaughters, Lisa Paysinger of Oliver Springs, Debbie and husband Dr. William Davidson of Nashville, Pamela Hoffemeyer of Memphis; grandsons, Michael Wires of Memphis, Bryan and wife Kimberly Hooks of Knoxville, Charles Bunch of Nashville; two great granddaughters and 6 great grandsons, a number of friends, relatives, and a special friend, Judy McKenney. The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton Friday, July 29, 2011, from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be at 8pm with Rev. Randall Jarnigan and Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. A eulogy will be given by Bryan Hooks. Graveside prayer and burial will be at Woodhaven Cemetery in Claxton, Saturday, July 30th, at 10:00AM.
