Velma Jo Carter, age 77 of Clinton, passed away July 25, 2010 at ParkWest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben Claude and Bedie Mary Cooper; daughter, Linda Patricia Carter Justice and infant, baby Carter.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 6-8:00pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00pm in the chapel with Rev. Max Smith officiating.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 30th at 10:00am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
