Ulys R. Cooper, age 95 of Clinton, passed away July 10, 2015 at U.T. Medical Center. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WWII. He was of the Baptist faith. Ulys enjoyed photography and film developing in his earlier years and always enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wiley Cooper and Alice Webb Cooper; brothers, Clarence, Carl and Vernon Cooper and Henry Beech; sisters, Edna Long, Mabel Burchfield and Gertie McGhee; several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 14th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Terry Baker officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00AM at Oak Grove Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamble.com
