Thelma Bradshaw Phillips, age 93 of Andersonville went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 20, 2017. She was born on March 6, 1924 in Coal Creek, TN. She was preceded in death by parents, David and Louisa Bradshaw; infant brothers, David, James, and Franklin; sister, Shirley Bradshaw; father and mother-in-law, Horace and Sarah Phillips; brother and sister-in-law's, Virgil and Lula Rogers, Bill and Jewell Powers, H.M. and Cheryl Phillips; brother-in-law, Ray Kilgore; nephews, William Bradshaw, Walter Rogers, and Tommy Rogers; niece, Angela Kilgore; beloved husband, George Phillips.
Thelma was a devoted Christian who was a member of First Baptist Church in Andersonville. She was devoted to her family and community. Thelma and her husband George were active for many years at the Museum of Appalachia and enjoyed a close friendship with John Rice Irwin. At home she loved to sew and work in her garden. Her greatest love was her family!

She is also survived by brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Shirley Bradshaw; sister, Margie Kilgore, nieces and nephews, Kim Siebe, Steve Kilgore, Janet Catton, Cindy Daniels, Karen Angarole, Michelle Miller, Kathy Snellings, Tim Bradshaw, Bill Powers, Lynn Justice, Rocky Phillips, Wayne Rogers, Linda Ihander, Carlene Marcum; numerous great nieces and nephews; special cousins, Sandra Foust, Maggie Phillips; special friends, Faye Bumgardner, Gladys O'dell, Kathleen Wallace, Evelyn Green, Carolyn Stengel, Michael Foust, John Rice Irwin, Melissa and Floyd Anderson and Judy Byrge.
