Susan Diane Murphy, 47 of Johnson City died March 25, 2010 of heart failure at Johnson City Medical Center. Susan was the daughter of Thomas Lane and step-mother, Inez Lane of Claxton. Susan was 1980 graduate of Clinton High School and later earned a nursing degree at St. Mary's School of Nursing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Rhyne Lane; father, Thomas Lane; brother, Nicholas Lane; step-brother, Dwain Long.

Memorials may be made to Inez Lane, 112 Valley Lane, Clinton, Tennessee 37716 to help pay expenses due to Susan's health condition.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 1-3p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel at 3:00p.m. with Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
