Susan Margretta Davis, a resident of Powell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the age of 78.

Susan was born in Oak Ridge, TN, on May 22, 1948. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1966. After high school, she ventured to Desert Hot Springs, California, to study art. After several years on the West Coast, she decided to return home to East Tennessee, where she met her husband Ed. She worked at Red Lobster for 14 years and then as a medical assistant at several offices, including Generations OBGYN. Suzi was an avid reader and Jeopardy watcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene Smith, and brother, Jack Smith.

She leaves behind her husband, Ed; son, Peter and wife Megan; brother, Bryon; grandchildren, Aiden, Beckett, and Claire Davis; brother-in-law, Greg; sisters-in-law, Alyssa and Maxine. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
