Starla Rae Stooksbury, age 78, of Andersonville, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. She was born on January 17, 1948, in Long Beach, California, to the late Floyd and Florence Bousman.

Throughout her life, Starla dedicated many years to working at Kmart locations in both Clinton and Knoxville. She was known for her love of cooking and enjoyed going to flea markets with her husband, Charles.

Starla is survived by her loving husband, Charles Stooksbury of Andersonville; her children, Kelsie Jo Andrews and husband Jim of Knoxville, Tracie Jo Schlitter and husband Bruce of Karns, and Carrie Jo Stooksbury of Clinton. She was also a proud grandmother to Kayla, Ty, Anthony, Raymond, Dustin, Christian, Holly, Hannah, Cody, Nichole, and her loving dog, Shadow.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Red Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow immediately after, with the graveside service held at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Both services will be officiated by Lani Wallace.
