Obituary

Stacey Dawn Sievers, age 59, of Heiskell, passed away at her residence. Stacey was born July 29, 1965, in Asheville, North Carolina, and graduated from Clinton High School class of 1983. She grew up in Claxton in the Knox County area. Stacey's life was a testament to her love for books and writing. She had an amazing passion, gift, and talent to write, which she nurtured throughout her life. Her love for reading and collecting books was immeasurable. She even created blogs on the social media Facebook platform, called Healing Morning and Healing Morning II. Over the years, she loved to crochet and made many blankets. During the winter months, she loved it when it snowed because it was one of her favorite natural beauties to see.  Snoopy and all the Peanut and Charlie Brown characters were her favorites. She also had a love for otters. Stacey's professional journey was equally remarkable. She worked with many companies, creating websites, doing technical writing, setting up, and helping businesses get started. She was a make-up artist and worked for Glamour Shots.  She was a licensed massage therapist and NAIC tech. Stacey had a loving heart; she loved many, and loved big!

Her parents, Billy E. Sievers and Janet Regan Sievers preceded her in death.

She is survived by her brother, Elliott Taylor and Lara Strickland Sievers; sister, Paige Lenore Sievers; nephews, Garrett Taylor and Mason Douglas; brother-in-law, Edward J. McGimsey; and caregiver, Lisa B. Ross; numerous extended family members and friends. Stacey's love for her family and friends was as boundless as her other passions, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will have a Celebration of Life service held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial be made to a library of your choice or that you donate books to a library of your choice in her memory. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
