Shirley Mae Flaugh, age 89 of Norris, passed away March 22, 2015 at Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville. Family and friends were the focus of Shirley's life. She loved to socialize and continued to nurture many long-term friendships throughout her life. Her hobbies included decorating her home, sewing, crocheting, and playing board games. She delighted in traveling with her husband to visit family and friends. Some of her favorite trips included California, Hawaii, Florida, New England and Nova Scotia. Besides being a homemaker, Shirley worked as a retail clerk, a secretary and a bank teller.
Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emma Kindervater; husband, Willard C. Flaugh.

Sister: Ilene Jones of Falls Church, VA
Shirley's family is grateful to the medical staff at Meadow View Senior Living Community and Tennova Residential Hospice for their loving care.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 25th from 10-11AM at Norris Religious Fellowship Church. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Dr. Keith Haverkamp officiating. Interment will be at 3:30PM, following the funeral, at Washington County Memory Gardens in Johnson City with Pastor Louis Imsande officiating.
