Shirley Lucille Addington Joyce of Clinton, TN went to meet her Savior on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 9, 1941 in Jewel Ridge, VA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Addington. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by brother, Dallas Addington; sisters, Jean Eure and Marie Smith. Shirley was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church where she enjoyed helping in children's church and decorating. She retired from JC Penney's after 35 years of service as a merchandise manager. Throughout her life she loved scrapbooking with the "Crazy Daisies, traveling, working in her yard but most of all spending time with her friends and family.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, November 21, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Bill Dawson and Dr. Bobby Sutherland officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:30 am, Tuesday morning and go in procession to Oak Ridge Memorial Park for an 11:00 am graveside service.
