Sheila "Sheen" Wells Pollard, age 64 of Powell went home to be with her heavenly father on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Parkwest Medical Center.  Sheila was a member of Beaverdale Baptist Church and retired from Anderson County Schools as a teaching assistant.  Throughout her life she enjoyed singing, gardening, writing Christmas plays for many churches over the past 30 years, and also writing songs.  The love of Sheila's life was her family and she will be remembered for sending her family birthday cards with poems she had hand written.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Looney and Ruby Wells and her niece, Audra Wampler.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home.  Her funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. David Watson and Rev. Brent Turnmyre officiating.  Her graveside will be 2:00 pm, Sunday at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
