Sharon Kay Goins Herrell, age 69, life ended May 10, 2011. She was born July 4, 1941, in Pennington Gap, VA to Bill Goins, Jr. and Mildred Reasor Goins, who preceded her in death. Also preceded by step-father, Carl S. Toney

Sharon Kay served as Pianist-Organist for Zion Baptist Church; Calvary Baptist Church, Heiskell; First Baptist Church, Lake City and North Knoxville Baptist Church.

Sharon is survived by her husband, David O. Herrell of Claxton; four sons and their wives; Joseph and Freda Herrell of Hickory, NC; Dave and Shanen Herrell of Huntsville, AL; Derek and Julie Herrell of Knoxville; Jason and Krystine Herrell of Claxton; her eleven grandchildren; Hanna, Elijah, Matthew, Jenny, Jessica, Kaylee, Isabella, Clair, Houston, Caroline and Creed.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2011, from 6-7:30 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will begin at 7:30PM with Rev. Harold Ogle, Rev. Larry Hewitt and Rev. Guy Milan officiating. Interment will be Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 11:00AM at Zion Cemetery in Claxton. At Sharon's request a special invitation is given to the ladies to wear hats.
