Satra Goins, age 87 of Lafollette, passed away on December 13, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell County. Satra was born on May 30, 1923 in Union County, Tennessee to the late John and Linda Taylor. She was a member of the Coolidge Baptist Church. Satra enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She never met a stranger and no one ever left her home hungry.
In addition to her parents, Satra is preceded in death by her late Husband, Howard Goins; Sons, Billy Howard Goins and James Goins; Grandson, Gregory Williams.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 1-3PM with a graveside service to follow at the Beeler Cemetery in Speedwell.
