Sanford Webster, age 84 of Clinton, passed away October 15, 2011 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born on August 22, 1927, in the Blowing Springs community. He was the only child of Joseph T. and Bertha Leach Webster who precedes him in death.. He is also preceded by an infant son, Stephen Garrett Webster.
He owned and operated a welding shop on Old Lake City Hwy for many years. He worked in Anderson County and surrounding counties. He had a great love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and it was shown thru everything he did. His family knew him as a man of honor and his love for them and pride in his sons was very evident.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Tillie Hoskins Webster

Services honoring Sanford will be Tuesday, October 18th at 8 o'clock at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM. He will be "placed in the earth" in the family cemetery to await the coming of his Lord and King, Jesus Christ, Wednesday at 11:00AM. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
