Sandra Minnes Carter , age 77, of New Tazewell, TN, passed away suddenly on January 21, 2024, at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville.

Sandra adored her family, but most especially her grandbabies, who, in turn, cherished her as well.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Pearl Minnes; sister, Jane Minnes; and faithful friend, Blu.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Robert Carter; sons, Travis Minnes and Scott Minenes; grandson, Cameron Minnes; granddaughter, Layla Minnes; father-in-law, Bobby Carter; stepdaughter, Shantina Pourte; stepson, Johnathan Carter; beloved companions, Sammy and Sassy, and lest we forget Tom, the cat.
