Sally Hays, age 89, of Andersonville, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Meadowview Assisted Living.  Sally was born April 13, 1936, in Dearborn, Michigan, to the late Ralph and Marie Adams.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and will be remembered as a faithful Christian who found solace and inspiration reading her bible.  Throughout her life, she loved spending time at Norris Lake with friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hays; sister, Pat Rittenhouse; brothers, Ralph Adams, Johnny Adams, and Dwight Adams.

She is survived by her son, Mark Hays & wife Pam of Maynardville, TN; daughter, Cynthia Marie Neely of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Devin, Jenna, Tasha, Tonya, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Skye, Kendall, and Jacob; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a graveside service at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  Holleygamble.com
