Sadie Dye, age 93, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center. Sadie grew up in Great Falls, South Carolina and was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed house keeping, flowering, and taking care of children in her community. Some people referred to Sadie as the community mother. Preceded in death by husband, Willie Dye; parents, John and Minnie Pickett; granddaughter, Michelle Dye; sisters, Elsie Mae Pickett & Alberta Pickett, & Lula Talford; brothers, Willie Lighten, Johnny, James and William Pickett. Sadie was the last living of all her siblings.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday at Mt.
