Ruth Pride Turner, age 97 of Clinton, passed away April 18, 2014, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Knoxville. She was born April 19, 1916 in Windrock Mountain, TN. She attended Clinch River Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her time to her family. In her spare time she enjoyed working in her flowers. Preceded in death by husband of 71 years, Ulyess Alfred Turner; son, Eddie Turner; daughter, Freddie Turner; two infants; parents, Ed and Lelia Jones Pride; brothers, Leland, Beecher and Palmer Pride; sister, Virginia Kesterson.
