Ruth Martin, age 77, of Clinton went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 6, 2011. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Throughout her life she loved to cook and entertain her grandkids. Ruth is preceded in death by daughter, Lorrie Martin; parents, Walter & Maude Ellis; brother, Jesse Ellis; sister, Bobbie Ellis.

The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm, Friday, July 8, 2011 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Donnie Disney officiating. Her burial will be 2:00 pm at Grandview Memorial Garden.
