Ruth Gray Alley, Age 84 of Andersonville, passed away October 19, 2011. In her early years Ruth was a homemaker and seamstress. From 1969 through 1987, she worked as a teller at the bank in Norris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Alley; daughter, Gail Hutson; parents, Milas and Emma Gray; son in-law, Lynn Hutson; brother, Hayes Gray.
Survivors include her son Larry Alley and wife, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 21st at 12:00PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Clinton with Rev. Darrell Taylor officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be Saturday, October 22nd at 12:00PM at Norris Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Haverkamp. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
