Rufus Dawson Hughes, age 85, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday, July 31, 2015. He was a member of Edgemore Baptist Church and retired from K-25/Martin Marietta as a brick mason after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Glenda Hughes, second wife, Mary Hughes; parents, John and Martha Kellum Hughes; son, Richard Hughes, sisters, Louise Gray, Johnnie Ruth Blankenship, and Ann Jenkins; brother, Bill Hughes.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, August 3, 2015 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following the chapel with Rev. Rick Miller officiating.
