Rue Marie Boyd left her worldly body on September 24, 2012. Rue was born in Anderson County to parents, Roscoe and Mary Robbins Melton on April 5, 1928. She and her husband, Bob, lived in Clinton where she enjoyed her flowers, her dog and two pet geese. Rue loved to visit with her friends. Her wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be Thursday, September 27th at 2PM at Farmers Grove Church cemetery on Block House Valley Road in Clinton. Rev. Joe Copeland will officiate. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement. www.holleygamblefh.com
